Thomas Tuchel has made some interesting comments after England‘s World Cup semi-final defeat.
“I think ball possession plays a crucial role,” said Tuchel about the loss to Argentina, which saw England collapse from a 1-0 lead.
“It’s maybe not in our DNA like it is in our Spanish DNA or in our Argentinian-Brazilian DNA, to take the ball and control the game with the ball.”
What do you make of those comments? Does Tuchel have a point, or is the England manager making excuses- especially after some questionable substitutions against Argentina
understands the FA are not considering Tuchel’sposition and as of now, he is set to be in charge for Euro 2028 after signing a two-year contract extension before the World Cup.
